Appledown contemporary garden

This contemporary space was designed into a split level garden to deal with the original awkward slope to the garden. Sandstone paving is used for the patio with timber sleepers retaining the raised lawn. A decking pathway leads up to the garage. A mix of shrubs and perennials were used to create a lush planting scheme with year round interest. A utility area containing a shed and bin store was created in an unused part of the garden at the side of the house and this was screened from view with contemporary slated screens and shade tolerant planting.
